Singles Cruise Attends South Florida Mud Mingle

— Shelby @ 12:16 pm

What a charge to see hundreds of singles ready to race at the Singles Mud Mingle! They came in droves to Miami Key Biscayne Beach where the Mud Mingle team set up several obstacle courses throughout the 5k trail filled with mud and fun! They had a ropes section, a climbing area and even a wheel barrel race where you were put together with another single, what a way to meet!

30s and 40s Cruise Pirate Theme Party

Ahoy Mateys! Our recent 30’s and 40’s cruise got our cruisers to walk the plank with a fun pirate theme party. It was an excellent event. Thank you all for getting into the spirit and playing pirates for an evening to remember. We even had a very creative woman come as Buried Treasure! She was adorable.

The weather was a little cool when we embarked in Port Canaveral and we were a little chilly at sea BUT when we landed in Cozumel, it was a cozy 80 degrees and the weather was lovely throughout the rest of the week. Phew! This cruise we also visited the beautiful islands of Belize, Roatan and Costa Maya.

Singles Cruise Friends

Did you know SinglesCruise.com can pair you with a roommate on most sailings to save you money? Shelby, SinglesCruise.com’s lead cruise director, has provided us with her top five tips for successfully sharing a cabin on your next singles cruise.

1. Plan ahead. Set aside 10 minutes on embarkation day to talk about your sleeping/waking habits while admiring the ocean view on the Lido Deck! This is also a great time to get to know your roommate. Remember you are sharing a room to save money so you both have to realize it’s not your private room.

SinglesCruise.com passengers on New Year’s cruise

Our New Year’s Eve cruise was very exciting in so many ways!  From the pre-cruise meet up at the Blue Martini right to the welcome orientation on the Carnival Liberty, I knew we were in for an exceptional cruise.  At our welcome mixer, we had numerous veterans who wanted to attend to befriend and help ease our new cruisers into their new adventure.

2012 Holiday Singles Cruise Review

Singles Cruise Group on Carnival Breeze

Our early December singles cruise out of Miami was outstanding! With just under 80 guests, we were a small group but a group that became very close. We sailed on the brand new Carnival Breeze and got to see its celebrative naming ceremony on our departure city. This ship has it all – there are many new choices for food along with additional hot tubs and outside seating/lounging areas on deck 5. The Piano Bar is enlarged and every night you could find at least 20 of our guests singing the classic Piano Bar tunes till 1 a.m.

Halloween night

Wow – we just got back from our Halloween singles cruise with 620 sensational cruisers!  This non-stop 8 day Halloween cruise was the best and biggest yet! We were blessed with fantastic weather in every port of call. We have a large group of return passengers on Halloween and they agreed that this was the best Halloween cruise ever.  We also welcomed a bunch of new cruisers into our SinglesCruise family.

New York Fall 2012 Singles Cruise

— Tags: , — Shelby @ 3:15 pm

Nothing is better than cruising out of New York, leaving from downtown Manhattan. The view of NYC is at its best as all the buildings reach to the sky. The shoreline of the Hudson on the New York and New Jersey side is majestic.  Ellis Island, where so many of our families came to enter America,  appears in the distance and the Statue of Liberty looks so close you can almost touch it.

We had 65 happy guests in our group who could not wait to hit the beautiful beaches in Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and then Nassau. We also hit the jackpot with the weather – it was perfect, and the ocean was smooth as glass.

2012 Labor Day Singles Cruise

— Shelby @ 12:24 pm

What a way to spend Labor Day – sitting on deck with a tropical beverage meeting over 140 singles! The events were great and the sun shined throughout the cruise. We headed to Margaritaville in Grand Turk and never looked back. The beach at Half Moon cay was fantastic and Nassau’s optional catamaran snorkel was spectacular.

We danced and sang at our Country Karaoke Party – what a fun filled evening! We just couldn’t keep them off the dance floor and even those that didn’t think they liked Country music came out with their stylish boots and hats. It was awesome.

Summer 2012 Alaska Singles Cruise

— Shelby @ 11:37 am

Our singles group just back from the Last Frontier, Alaska. We spent 7 days on the Carnival Spirit out of Seattle with a great group of singles eager to see the bears, whales, and eagles on our way up the inside passage to Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan Ak.

This trip is a little different than the Caribbean cruises as more time is spent looking at the scenery, waiting to see a whale breach the water or sneak a peek at a bear along the shore lines. We even saw an eagle sitting on a piece of glacier ice that broke off as we passed by!
